Stacey is someone who feels like a friend as soon as we welcome her into our homes via our television screens. I have watched her for years, so when she mentioned that she would be passing through the Dallas area, I reached out to her for an interview. In true Stacey fashion, she enthusiastically said "Yes"!
I cannot put into words how absolutely thrilled I was. Knowing Stacey has a busy schedule, I suggested meeting for coffee; but Stacey being the generous person she is, treated me to a full sit-down breakfast at The Mansion Hotel in Turtle Creek for her first ever breakfast interview.
A few weeks later after her trip to a few of her other Networks, a trade show in Italy, a factory visit in Germany, and LIVE Shows at QVC in the UK she arrived in big D where she was the key note speaker at the Dallas Convention Center to what had to be 800 excited college students!
As I sit with Stacey and her lovely daughter Knox we discuss how thrilled Knox is about being asked to visit SMU campus with mom and study abroad in Switzerland as a freshman for their international program! They also share that they are most excited about the scholarships that their ybf foundation will be donating and sponsoring with her daughter at the FGI (Fashion Group International) event the next day!
After our meeting I can truly tell you that Stacey is a truly authentic person, who has a passion for her work, has a deep love for her family, and has a willingness to share.
